Spelled Waffles with Pastel de Nata Liqueur
Ingredients for the waffles:
- 150g spelled wholemeal flour;
- 20g of flaxseed flour;
- 180g of Kefir (milk or vegetable drink) ;
– 1 egg;
- Salt qb
Ingredients for topping:
- Cream Pastel de Nata Liqueur ;
- Cinnamon powder, qb
Preparation:
- Mix the kefir (milk or vegetable drink) with the egg.
- Add the flour, salt and mix until it forms a batter.
- Grease the waffle maker using a brush with butter and turn it on.
- Pour a portion of the dough into the center of the hot machine, close the lid and let it cook for a few minutes, until golden.
- Remove and repeat the procedure until all the dough is used up.

- If you don't have a machine, you can use a non-stick frying pan and make it like pancakes.
- Drizzle generously with Pastel de Nata Liqueur and sprinkle with cinnamon.
