Baked Apple with Dona Ginja Liqueur
Ingredients:
- Apples (I used Granny Smith, but it could be something else)- Cinnamon sticks;
- Sugar (I used brown sugar);
- Pecan Nuts (you can use another type of fruit);
– Softened butter;
- Dona Ginja Liqueur ;
Preparation:
- Cut superficially around the apple.
- Remove the pit, "cover" it underneath with butter, and then fill with the sugar and pecan mixture.
- Add the cinnamon stick and fill it a little more.
- Drizzle with Cherry Liqueur.
- Place in a preheated oven at 200°c for around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on how cooked you want your apples.
