Biscoitos de Maça e Canela com Licor de Canela

Apple and Cinnamon Biscuits with Cinnamon Liqueur

- 100g of butter;
- 90g of sugar;
- 40g of brown sugar;
- 2 eggs;
- 300g unleavened flour;
– 1 teaspoon of yeast;
– 1 and a half tablespoons of Cinnamon Liqueur ;
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder;
- 100g of FRUUT apple snack;
– 1 handful of chopped walnuts;
- 100g chocolate bar 70% cocoa.


- Start by preheating the oven to 180ºC and lining a tray with parchment paper .
- Beat the sugar with butter until you get a creamy and fluffy mixture .
- Add the cinnamon and liqueur .
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition
- Mix the coarsely chopped walnuts and apple into this preparation . Sift the flour with the baking powder and mix well.
- Make two half-flattened logs on the tray and place in the oven to bake at 180ºC for around 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, cut into slices of approximately 1cm each and place back in the oven at 130ºC, for more than 20 minutes or until golden and very dry.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool.

- Place the 100g of chocolate bars in the microwave, stirring occasionally to prevent them from burning.
- Place on top of the Cookies. Let the chocolate harden and serve with a refreshing smoothie or a soft tea.
