Waffles de Espelta c/ Licor de Pastel de Nata

Spelled Waffles with Pastel de Nata Liqueur

Ingredients for the waffles:

- 150gr of whole spelled flour;
- 20gr of linseed flour;
- 180gr of Kefir (milk or vegetable drink) ;
- 1 egg;
- Salt qb

Ingredients for the topping:

- Pastel de Nata cream liqueur ;
- Cinnamon powder, to taste


Preparation:

- Mix the kefir (milk or vegetable drink) with the egg.
- Add the flours, salt and mix until it forms a batter.
- Grease the waffle maker using a brush with butter and switch on.
- Pour a portion of the dough into the center of the hot machine, close the lid and let it cook for a few minutes, until golden.
- Remove and repeat the procedure until all the dough is used up.
- If you don't have a machine, you can use an anti-adherent skillet and make it like pancakes.
- Sprinkle generously with the Pastel de Nata Liqueur and sprinkle with cinnamon.
